Imagine a young English woman in the early 1920s being asked to leave her home in England to begin a new life in the then new Republic of Ireland. 96 year old Olivia Durdin-Robertson, from Huntington Castle in Co Carlow talks about her early ideas about Ireland before her family moved here and is one of the subjects of a new documentary “The Raj in the Rain” by Patrick Cooney that will be screened on Sunday at the IFI.
