Salmon Fisheries Galway
A Bord Iascaigh Mhara proposal to build an organic salmon farm in Galway Bay had led to huge protests from those who say it will destroy migrating salmon stock in the North Atlantic. Pat was joined in our Galway studio by the Mayor of Galway Thomas Welby, who is against the project and by Jason Whooly, Chief Executive of BIM here in the Dublin studio. Valerie Cox has been to Galway to meet people on both sides of the argument she met Enda Kennelly from Inis Oírr on Barna Beach.
