The Difficulties of growing up Gay in Ireland.
The French Film Festival is on at the moment and one of the films caught our eye. Called the Invisibles it focuses on the lives of eleven elderly gay men and women portraying what life was like growing up gay in the 60s, 70s and 80s. Well we decided to take this opportunity to look at the lives of three Irish gay people who experienced the difficulties of growing up gay in Ireland of the same period.
