Yesterday afternoon, in the US, tickets went on sale for the Chicago concert in September that is now going to be the NEW first gig of Garth Brooks’ comeback world tour. 10 shows in total went on sale and sold out yesterday. We heard from Dublin City Council Chief Executive Owen Keegan yesterday and today it’s the turn of the GAA and Aiken promotions to come before the Dail Committee which is investigating exactly why no solution could be found to the Garth Brooks stand-off. On the line to John this morning is one very disappointed Garth Brooks fan, Barry Kelly who had won tickets to see Garth Brooks in concert at Croke Park. Barry, who is a crane driver & a bit of a singer himself, tells John of his disappointment with recent events.
