New Credit Card Style Drivers Licence.
You many have read that a new credit card style drivers licence is to be introduced, with a tamper proof sealed photograph ID card. This means that from September if you want to get a new or renew an old driving licence you will have to go to a service provider appointed by the Road Safety Authority to get your photo taken. This decision has incensed community pharmacists and locally based photographers as this centralizing of the driving licence cuts off a regular source of income.
