Upward Only Rent Review
The strangling effect on business of upward only rent reviews, has put in danger nearly seven hundred employees of B+Q, the DIY retailer with nine stores around the country. B&Q had been forced to petition for examinership at the High Court and now has 100 days to work on a rescue plan. Joining Pat was Declan Ronyane Managing Director of Currys /PC World Ireland, and a Board member of Retail Excellence Ireland, who says retailers are being “crucified”.
