Croke Park Deal Pay Talks.
Next week will see the start of formal talks on a new Croke Park deal on public sector pay and reform. It’s believed the Government wants to save, by agreement with unions, €1 billion over the next three years in the public service pay and pensions bill. Increments, premium pay rates, reform of grade structures and longer working hours will likely be on the agenda of what is being called the Croke Park “extension”.
