Shock and sadness this morning in North Cork following the tragic deaths of three brothers. The bodies of nine year old twins Tom and Paddy O’Driscoll were found stabbed to death in their home in Charleville yesterday . The boy’s older brother Jonathan was found dead on a riverbank in Buttevant hours later. Joining Sean from the scene Ralph Riegel of the Irish Independent who is in Charleville. Also Consultant Psychiatrist Patricia Casey on how local people can try to come to terms with this triple tragedy.
It was a busy weekend in sport as Cork capitulated to Tipp in the All Ireland hurling semi final. Our women’s rugby team were beaten into 4th place by France and England overcame Canada to win the World Cup. Not to mention the end of a very satisfying European Athletics championships for the Ireland team.
