Here, in November 2013, the then Minister for Health James Reilly published the outline of a Bill to introduce plain packaging on tobacco products in Ireland with the aim of making Ireland a smoke free society by 2025. But how important ...http://www.rte.ie/radio1/today-with-sean-o-rourke/programmes/2014/0724/632779-today-with-sean-o-rourke-thursday-24-july-2014/?clipid=1636438
Minister for Health, James Reilly, last week reaffirmed his intention to strip all cigarette packs of their branding next year. Jacinta called Liveline to tell listeners that she was upset by a recent experience on a flight from the Canaries. A woman who was sitting beside her went to the toilet and when she returned , the airline staff came and asked all of the passengers in the aisle who had been smoking? Jacinta was upset at having been asked, when she hadn't even left her seat. Other callers told similar stories of smokers on planes.http://www.rte.ie/radio1/liveline/programmes/2012/1031/354988-liveline-wednesday-31-october-2012/?clipid=941911
