    Relocating the army

    Maria’s husband is a private in the Irish Army. As part of the new reorganisation of the Defence Forces, he is moving barracks. He was told last Wednesday that he’s moving to Athlone. She doesn’t want to go. She has two young children and is settled in Dublin. She cannot understand how this initiative is going to save any money. They aren’t letting anyone go, just moving people.
