THE PASSION OF JOHN - Listen to this programme
Myth and meaning in the life of the late John Moriarty.
Producer: Aidan Mathews

On the first anniversary of his passing, selections from the talks and teachings of the great Irish mystic invite the listener to a master-class with Moriarty. Spirituality and storytelling combine with poignant personal material to suggest something of his Christian odyssey across the passion narratives of world mythology to a final reckoning with the Easter story. Presented and produced by Aidan Mathews.

All the recordings of the late poet and philosopher used in the programme were excerpted from ONE EVENING IN EDEN, a thirteen-part box-set series of his lectures published in 2007 by Slí na Fírinne and available for sale from
