A world of mystery and intrigue, a catalogue of war, famine, business and pleasure lies at the bottom of our seas, discovered only by a few with a burning passion to know and understand this watery underworld and its history.

Ireland's seabed is home to many shipwrecks and as a result it is quite a beacon for most divers, from the novice to the adventure seekers and experienced explorers. For some, this passion has consumed much of their lives, becoming a part of who they are and what they do.

Produced by Linda Geraghty, Little Oak Productions, this documentary takes a look at the passions which lure Irish divers to the bottom of our seas, what stories lie with these shipwrecks and hears why these people brave the often adverse conditions of Irish waters to discover these forgotten vessels.
