PJ O'Connor Awards for Radio Drama 2011

This year Drama On One invited candidates to submit radio plays of 55 minutes in duration. 128 entries in all were received and the team at RTE Radio Drama want to say a sincere thank you to all who participated.

This year the judges awarded a joint 1st Prize, with both winners taking home 4,500 euros each.

That joint first prize goes to

Sheila Llewellyn, for
THE HOUSE ON SHARENI STREET

And Arthur Sheridan, for his play,
NO ROOM FOR ANGELS

Third prize of 3,000 euro goes to Kevin Gildea for his play, HARK, THE HERALD ANGELS SING

This year's judges were:
