Mooney

Mooney

Derek Mooney with his unique mix of conversation, information, advice and entertainment

On Mooney today...

Derek meets the secret artist who's literally giving it away for free! He talks to the businessman who's found a solution to the problem of the lost sock. And solicitor Gerald Kean drops in for a chat...

Gerald Kean

Gerald Kean

The man sitting in front of Derek today could be described as the epitome of sartorial elegance. However, a couple of weeks ago he attended the Eminem concert at Slane and some people seemed to suggest he was dressing a little younger than his age - according to the The Irish Mail On Sunday, he appeared to be attempting to "embrace his inner rapper"!

Celebrity legal eagle Gerald Kean joins us in studio today...

Final Of The Hit Tomorrow

Final Of The Hit Tomorrow

The big finale of RTÉ’s The Hit takes place TOMORROW! Presented by Nicky Byrne and Aidan Power, The Hit is the latest music reality show format – and it’s been doing relatively well, with a quarter of a million people tuning in each week.

And that’s just in Ireland. It’s about to travel around the world!

If you were listening yesterday, you'll have heard Philip Kampff, who is the creator of The Hit and the owner of Vision Independent Productions, as did Declan Jones, who is the Head of Development with Vision Independent Productions, and whose job on The Hit was to listen to and whittle down the 1000 songs received into the show...

Today, we'll play all six songs!

To find out how to download Mundy's Jigsaw Man and Finbar Furey's The Last Great Love Song, visit www.rte.ie/tv/voting/thehitdownload.
