Martin Shanahan's Salmon bap (get children into fish!)
Salmon bap - getting children into fish!
Ingredients:
- 4 100gr. pieces of salmon with no skin and no bone
- 4 soft baps or burger buns
- Taco seasoning mix
Cut the salmon into slivers, or ask the fishmonger to do it (get friendly with the fishmonger)
Coat in the taco season mix. Pan fry for two minutes each side. Toast the bun.
White cabbage salad; Finely shred some white cabbage and add some white wine vinegar, a pinch of salt and caraway seeds. Make this like coleslaw an hour beforehand.
Make cocktail sauces by mixing mayonnaise with ketchup of Worcester sauce.
Place the burger on the bap, followed by the cocktail sauce and white cabbage salad and top with another bap.
