Derek's sister Beryl has been in St Ita's, Portrane for 53 years. She has cerebral palsy and is non-verbal.  Beryl and all other residents living with her are being moved out of their accommodation. Derek is worried that the move will cause her immense trauma.

A number of gymnastic events at the National Indoor Arena were cancelled recently. Parents of young children who were due to compete are not happy.

John Morgan, a wheelchair user, appeals to rail strikers to call off the next one day strike on the day of Ireland's big match at the Aviva Stadium.
