Maria McCrea, sister of Danny Talbot has read the report by the Child and Family Agency, Tusla, into the death of her brother. It wasn’t really a shock to her. She spoke about how the care system had failed her brother on numerous occasions over the years. Going forward all she can ask that no more children suffer like her brother Danny did.
Peter had a word of warning about checking that your passport and regulations for different countries. He ended up in a holding cell in the Phillipines, because his passport was out within six months of his return date.
Liam says that illegal deer hunting - poaching - is the curse of efficient deer management. He has come across several cows and donkeys killed by mistake by poachers.
Tish wanted to thank a very good Samaritan that stopped and helped after they got a puncture. He went out of his way driving to a garage over 30 miles away to have the tyre pumped up.
Nora Heraty who worked for many years at Westport House wanted to remember Lord Altamount who died earlier this week.
