Important information regarding Funny Friday 25th November 2016: 

Funny Friday will be broadcast live this week from Studio One in the RTE Radio Buildings. 

This is a ticketed event with a limited audience capacity. Tickets have been allocated on a first come-first serve basis.

While we will endeavour to respond to all of the ticket queries received, please note that if you have not been contacted by a member of the Liveline team, unfortunately you have not been successful in obtaining tickets.

Remember, the Liveline Christmas Special will be broadcast live from Dublin's Duke Street on Christmas Eve. This is open to the public and we hope to see you all there.  



Nuala told Joe how problems with ‘shadow debiting’ has been affecting her business.    She lost 9 to 13 sales in one month over this.    She has a small business, that this is quite a lot of money for her. 

Anne wanted to warn listeners about the importance of having travel insurance.   Her nephew Ryan Croker was in a swimming pool accident in Perth, Australia,  unfortunately he was seriously injured , he had no travel insurance and it has cost a lot of money to get him home.    Anne would like to thank the generosity of the people of Moycullen who have done loads of fundraising to help the family with their medical bills. 

Marian joined a hotel discount card scheme run by Absolute Marketing Limited in Belfast.   They debited her card earlier this year and it took 168 calls to get a refund.
