Liveline Wednesday 4 June 2014
We started today's programme with Gerard who has taken photographs of a Go Safe van which was overtaking on a continuous white line!
Denis spoke about the theft of his fladbed lorry loaded with scaffolding. Listeners got on the trail and it was eventually found in Maynooth, sadly minus its load.
Patricia who, two weeks ago, had a new top up gas meter fitted, soon realised that in her 70's it was too hard to read it on her hands and knees. It will now cost about €200 to have it removed.
Tom Ward spoke most eloquently about his time in a mother and baby home in Tuam, leaving there in 1947. He eventually found his mother and his half brothers and sisters.
Cecilia spoke about her frustrations in dealing with the HSE after her cancer diagnosis.
