    On foot of the discretionary Medical Card reversal announcement, we started the programme with Mary and Maree's personal stories and the ensuing emotional trauma of their situations.

    On the subject of clerical celebacy, Betty called in with her fascinating love story. Fr. Paddy Byrne, a 40 year old priest with 13 years experience, expressed his views on the potential dearth of priests if the issue isn't dealt with. 

    With the theft yesterday of signaling cable on the Dart, Kevin recounted how in Russia, people were stealing to feed their families.  

    With the June Bank Holiday weekend statistically being the most dangerous of the year on our roads, photographer Michael Keane spoke very movingly about his exhibition on the aftermath of traffic accidents. As a slow driver, his nickname of "Mr. Tailback" didn't impress Eddie.
