    J.J. BUNYON WAS A DISTRICT COURT CLERK FOR 30 YEARS, HE SAYS HE LEARNED THAT SENDING LETTERS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE WAS THE EQUIVALENT TO SENDING THEM TO THE SHREDDER.       HE IS NOT SURPRISED AT ALL THAT MINISTER SHATTER KNEW NOTHING ABOUT THE LETTER.   HE BELIEVES NOTHING HAS CHANGED.

    RETIRED DETECTIVE EDDIE MC BRIDE FEELS SORRY FOR SERVING GUARDS WITH ALL THE CURRENT CONTROVERSY.     THEY MUST BE SO DEMORALISED.   GLAD TO SEE THAT CALLINAN IS GONE.   WE NEED TO MOVE ON NOW AND REBUILD CONFIDENCE IN THE FORCE.
