    Hauliers discussed the “CPC Courses” being a waste of time and also a new cross border charge which comes in on 1st of April.

    Mick wonders why are funerals so expensive in Ireland.   

    Luke returned to the subject of minors travelling on their own on flights...he remembers 40 years ago receiving a telegram reading ‘Four children to be picked up at Shannon Airport tomorrow morning at 8 a.m.”.   My eldest brother emigrated to Canada in the 60s and it was his children arriving in Shannon.   Drove down in a Ford Anglia to collect them.
