Mick O'Dea is an artist and a keen cyclist. About 10 days ago he was knocked off his bicycle in O'Connell Street and was badly injured resulting in the loss of his spleen. He tells Joe his story.

Antoinette runs a small cafe in Dundalk, Co. Louth. Her bank recently closed her current account because she missed two payments. She has suffered through 5 rough years and she is now wondering why she bothered.

Ger is an amputee. He tells Joe how he came to lost his leg due to a clot likely caused by smoking. 

Winifred visited her doctor 4 months ago. He noticed a growth on her face and referred her on to a conultant in the public system. She was shocked when she was told she would never get an appointment because of the enormous backlog. 

Damien wants to pay tribute to the late Jim Mansfield who died today aged 75. He says that Jim Mansfield transformed Saggart, Co. Dublin. He describes him as a hero and a visionary who transformed his local area and brought employment to many local people.
