John  is  a  member of the Labour  Party. He supported Colm Keavney and campaigned on his behalf. He can't understand how Colm can join Fianna Fail after he was so critical of them in the past. James is a Fianna Fail activist he says that Colm Keavney is very welcome in Fianna Fail.

Gerard is a supervisor in waste management with Dublin City Council. He says the number of wallets and purses they are finding has increased 100% in the past few weeks. He wants to warn listeners to be careful in Dublin city centre.

Barbara took some books to her local charity shop in Edenderry. She was very surprised to see a notice pinned to the door which said that the shop would be closing due to a demand from Offaly County Concil for rates.

Donal Taaffe is a solicitor. He talks to Joe about changes to bankruptcy laws in Ireland. He believes that it should be reduced to 12 months in line with the UK.

The Salaries of Chief Executives of charities were discussed again today.  In relation to Ray who mentioned the salary of the chief executive of the Irish Wheelchair Association they wish to let us know that the Association is completely compliant with all Department of Health and Health Service Executive (HSE) guidelines in relation to salary scales and rates of pay. Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA) can confirm that there is no correlation between CEO, Kathleen McLoughlin’s salary and any funds generated through fundraising initiatives. All funds raised through IWA fundraising initiatives are immediately invested into essential services which IWA provides to people with physical disabilities and other mobility impairments in their own homes and communities.

Pamela L Travers, the author of Mary Poppins, was godmother to Suzanna Crompton's parents, and to her. Suzanna tells Joe the story of their connection.

Joe tells the listeners about some great Fiver Friday offers in advance of Fiver Friday on Friday 6th December 2013.
