David's partner works in the Coombe Hospital in Dublin. She often works night-shifts. Since the introduction of the ban on smoking in the hospital grounds she has been forced to smoke outside the gate on Cork Street. She rings David while having a cigarette to feel safe. He thinks its a crazy policy.

Denis' brother-in-law has been involved with Scientology for the past number of years. Denis acknowledges that he is free to leave at any time but Denis feels that he may aswell be locked up. They can't reach him.

Gerry's wife is being treated for cancer for the second time. She is bald from chemotherapy and wears a headscarf. They travelled through Dublin airport last Thursday en route to Barcelona about 5.50am. She was asked to remove her head scarf which she found humiliating.

Rose's daughter went to a friends house party last month. It was a fancy dress fundraiser for a cancer charity. The party was posted on Facebook.  A lot of young people showed up in fancy dress and stole lap-tops, ipads and mobile phones. She tells Joe about it.

Mary feels a bit stupid. She ordered a "free trial" of anti-wrinkle cream online. She didn't read the terms and conditions and they have debited €300 from her account. John bought slimming pills online. He was charged about €350 for what he also thought was a "free trial".

Joe talks to more business owners about their great Fiver Friday offers. Fiver Friday is on Friday 6th December 2013.
