Steven O'Riordain has campaigned on behalf of Ireland's Magdalene Laundry women. He watched the film "Philomena" on Friday. The film tells the story of Philomena Lee who had her baby in Sean Ross Abbey in Roscrea, Tipperary. He thought the film was amazing. He felt the portrayal of Sr. Hildegarde was particularly striking. Manus' wife Annette was a baby in Sean Ross Abbey. He also says the portrayal of Sr. Hildegarde was uncannily accurate. Gloria feels compelled to see the film. Her mother, who was also called Philomena, was in Sean Ross Abbey in Roscrea, Co. Tipperary. Brenda was born in Sean Ross Abbey and she met Sr. Hildegarde. They all talk to Joe.

Kathleen receieved her Local Property Tax letter. It was addressed to her husband. It relates to a property she sold 7 years ago. She spent an hour on the phone to Revenue and thought it had been rectified but it hasn't. She tells Joe her story.

John Murray spoke on his radio show this morning about his 7 month absence from the airwaves due to his struggle with depression. Joe plays back a clip of John's statement. Pat heard the show. He tells Joe about his own struggles with depression and suicide and how important it is for people to speak out.
