In light of the tragic death of Peggy Mangan Rosaleen felt that KBC should have pulled their ad campaign which appeared in the national newspapers over the weekend. KBC in response said the advert is one of a series in their new marketing campaign. Listeners also discussed the loyalty dogs have for their owners.

Thomas told us that his 16 month old daughter and au pair were travelling on the 140 bus to Finglas at the weekend when a man upstairs was smoking cannabis. The bus driver went up to the man and asked him to put it out, the man refused and in anger he pulled out a gun and pointed it around at all the passengers including my daughter. Everyone started rushing off the bus. I think this is a disgrace. Again the Gardai have asked for witnesses to the incident.
Annette was in St. Joseph’s cemetery Bohernabreena on Friday when she saw a young boy trying to break into their car. She went after him, but was surprised when he hopped into a car, a woman was driving it and their was also another child in the car. Annette just wanted other visitors to the cemetery to be aware of this.
Ursuala wanted to find out more information about a certificate her sister received in the fifties. She had made a donation to a fund for the statue of our Lady which is at the entrance to Dublin Port.
