Discussion and debate with Joe Duffy
Tommy Ellis organised a cruise trip for 17 people but 14 of the group came down with the norovirus while on board the ship in the mediterranean and had a difficult time as a result.
The mauling of a young Dublin man by an escaped lion in 1951 was retold by the man's brother on today's programme. Former head zookeeper at Dublin zoo Gerry Creighton called in to chat about lions, wallabies and his time at the zoo.
Wallabies are alive and well and living on Lambay Island off the county Dublin coast, Liveline listeners reported.
