As the property tax letters drop through the letterbox , politicians are saying if you can afford holidays abroad, health insurance, sky sports etc. you can afford to pay the property tax.  Callers say they have already given up all these things.   One caller Nora can’t afford to get a hearing aid so doesn't know where she'll find the money to pay the property tax. Specsavers generously offered to cover the cost of a hearing aid for her.
