    Olive told us how her 14 year old daughter decided to be homeschooled. She is a high achiever and doing very well. The reaction of people to this has been quite negative.

    Events both large and small organised by groups and families for the Gathering 2013 were discussed.

    John Sweeney remembered the life and times of Doctor John O’Connell TD who passed away last week. John thinks he was ahead of his time and was a socially progressive politician.

    Gary wanted to thank a generous bouncer in Tamangos nighclub in Portmarnock who gave his daughter money to get a taxi home as she had no money and was going to walk home
