    Problems on Cruise

    Joanne’s sister recently got married. Joanne was chief bridesmaid and organised a surprise cruise on the Thomson Majesty Cruise liner for the couple’s honeymoon. Audrey is the bride, she got to spend 1 day on her honeymoon before it was cancelled. She is stuck in Las Palmas. The women tell Joe their story.


    Irish Banking

    Gerry Carron watched the documentary “Inside Irish Nationwide” last night on RTE. He wasn't surprised by the shocking revelations. He says that these bankers should hang their heads in shame. He is particularly annoyed about Michael Fingleton's huge pension.


    Adoptions to America

    The Liveline listeners discuss the practice of Irish babies being brought to the United States for adoption in the 1950’s and 60’s. Annes brother was a seminarian. He was offered a free flight to America if he brought a baby intended for adoption. Susan is the co-founder of the Adoption Rights Alliance. She says that in many cases the families in America weren’t vetted.
