John has worked as a registrar for many years. Last Wednesday was one of the most embarrassing of his career because of the increase in fees for birth, marriage and death certs. He had couples turning up that day to serve notification of their marriage not aware that the fee had increased by €50.

Mary was doing her food shopping when she was hit from behind by an empty plastic drinks bottle. The culprit who threw it was a teenage boy. Mary was shocked when she confronted him and his friends that they just laughed at her.

Carol has the condition Trigeminal Neuralgia and suffers terrible pain in her face. She tells Joe she hasn't eaten any solid food since November and she's looking for advice from other listeners with the condition. Eileen had the exact same symptoms as Carol - even the wind blowing on her face caused her pain. She found the Dental Hospital very helpful and ended up having brain surgery.
