Listen Back Joan has not spoken to her son in almost 12 weeks. He is incarcerated in a French prison, in Lille. He drives a truck for a living and was allegedly found to be carrying an amount of cigarettes illegally. She receives letters from him in prison, he is not in good health. She wants to get him home here to Ireland to await any future trial. She is convinced of his innocence, she is lobbying politicians to get him home.

Pat was in Santa Ponsa when he encountered thousands of Celtic supporters who were there as part of the Celtic Supporters Association Convention. He says some of them caused havoc with their behaviour in the hotel; urinating in the lift etc.

John Moreland still runs the Irish Yeast Company shop on College St, near Trinity College in Dublin. He is 86 and has been working there since he was 16. They sold yeast through the century, during the 1913 Lockout, the Easter Rising etc.
