Listen Back Gold star driving lessons

Micheal called Liveline about an ad he saw for driving jobs. When he called the number he was told he needed to do an assessment before they would place him. The assessment cost over €150 and the money had to be paid up front. Other callers had similar experiences , none of them had been placed in employment after doing the driving courses.

Young people on campsites

Stephen and his friends, in their mid twenties , wanted to go camping in Kerry and called the Woodlands site to make a booking. They were told to just show up , and when they did they were refused. The Owner of the campsite, Mike McDonnell came on the air togive his point of view and a number of other callers joined to give views on the subject of young people , in groups on campsites.

Abbey College

Abbey College in Dublin city centre closed down last weekend and two of the college's employees spoke to Damien about their experience. Bernette and Kevin were very upset that they had not been paid wages and said that many students and people providing accommodation services to the college had been left unpaid.
