Guinness advert:

"This is rugby country" is the latest television ad for Guinness and it features, amoung others, firefighters from the Dublin Brigade. Dr Joe Barry called in to tell Joe he felt it wasn't appropriate for firefighters to be involved. A number of firefighters called in to give their views on their participation in the ad.

Election posters:

Day 2 of the 2011 election campaign and liveline listeners were egtting very close to some of the candidiates, or at least fast moving images of them! callers told Joe about posters which had blown down from poles around Dublin, while one caller, Robert from Wexford, told Joe about posters on the sides of roads arund the south-east.
