About the show;
Following last year's successful series, Jazz singer Melanie O'Reilly returns to present "Jazz on the Bay". Currently resident in Berkeley, California, as musician and music educator, she discovered that jazz is alive and well in California and the Bay Area, not only in the sophisticated concert hall venues but also in legendary jazz clubs, and wacky diners. In this programme she interviews American jazz musicians, listening to their life stories, their inspirations as well as their music.
