Finding Hans

Commissioned by RTÉ Radio Drama to commemorate the bicentenary of the birth of Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen, Rebecca Bartlett's new four-part series is a fast-paced adventure, weaving aspects of modern day Ireland with characters from some of the world's best-loved fairytales.

This is a modern spin on the stories of Hans Christian Andersen. What if an evil spirit woman was to launch a computer virus in a bid to destroy some of our favourite fairytales?  Thumbelina, the Ugly Duckling, the Elves and the Shoemaker would all be in danger. 

Enter two intrepid Dublin teenagers, Freya and Finbar, who find themselves entrusted with the job of saving all the characters of the stories of Hans Christian Andersen from obliteration.
