Eye Of The Mind

The mission of the programme is to introduce the listener to the magic of the images and pictures which we see around us today. We will be talking to the people who make them - painters, photographers, graphic artists, while also looking at why images affect us the way they do.

Included in the series will be artist Charlie Whisker who is haunted by the image of a young man dying in his arms in the Northern troubles, Celtic artist and Thin Lizzy logo designer Jim Fitzpatrick, Australian Dr. Stuart Smith UCD Lecturer in Psychology and the winners of the AIB Press Photographers Awards 2005.
