    Ireland to exit bailout without a backstop - Fergal Keane reports.

    The government has decided that we are to go it alone when we exit the bailout programme next month - We will not seek the comfort blanket of an emergency fund safety net. Fergal Keane has the chronicle of what happened throughout the morning.
