    Epilepsy Units unopened in Cork and Dublin

    Two Epilepsy Monitoring Unit in Cork University Hospital and Dublin's Beaumont hospital were completed last Autumn at a cost of almost one million euro. However both now lie unopened due to a lack of staffing. Professor Norman Delanty, consultant neurologist and director of the Epilepsy programme at Beaumont Hospital gives his reaction.
