Joe is probably best known for his re-enactments of evidence from the various Tribunals which were featured on the Tonight with Vincent Browne Show from 1999 to 2008. Joe joined the RTÉ Rep. in 1980 and has worked in many Radio Drama productions including River Run, Harbour Hotel, The Four Gospels, Dubliners and the renowned production of Ulysses. Joe presented Children's Drama from 1986 to 1990 and wrote several plays and stories for children including Barney and the Banshee, Blacklight, The Paint Box of the Universe and Helter Skelter (this three part series was for BBC Radio Scotland). Joe also wrote for the Gerry Ryan Show; a political comedy Finner and a Summer series Bundoran. Joe worked with Gerry Ryan Show for three years on the TV light entertainment series "Secrets". Joe scripted and took part in satirical sketches on the TV series Nighthawks. His other TV work includes Father Ted, Ballykissangel, Fair City and Kilnaskully. Joe will be working with Pat Shortt in Pat's new Police Drama series "Matty" in May of this year. Joe has voiced many animated films including The Animals of Farthing Wood, Super Ted, The Sham Rocks and six feature-length films for Emerald City Productions. Joe is a member of The Emergency, which released their first CD, "Use Democracy Sensibly".
