Shevonne first fell in love with radio while volunteering at a local community radio station in Sydney.

She worked as EP, presenter and journalist on the current affairs program The Wire for three and a half years at the same time as producing features for the ABC.

Her first feature for the program 360- Brian and Norm, a Love Story - won gold at the New York Festival Awards.

Shevonne has also worked as a producer on the ABC's Saturday Extra, a program that covers international affairs and finance, and teaches radio at Macquarie University.
