Peter Mulryan worked as a TV producer in the UK for fifteen years, he finally returned to Ireland in 2006 and is now a Senior Producer based in RTÉ's Cork studios.

He has written one non-fiction book on pirate radio and six on whiskey, so you can see where his loyalties lie.

He likes to dabble in non-fiction and while researching a novel about a boy who finds a message in a bottle, he stumbled across Frank and Breda's incredible story, he knew right away he had found his first radio documentary.
