Hailing from Dublin, Kiara Murphy brings qualifications in Media Production, Music Management and a myriad of other arenas, from specialised documentary making, to writing for factual TV, to production skills.
From 2001 to 2002, Kiara presented regular programmes, while also working as a Radio Production Engineer and participating in the Radio Kerry Arts Committee.
In late 2002, she moved back to Dublin and began working in post production sound. Over the next ten years Kiara worked for a number of Ireland's top film studios such as Screen Scene and Ardmore Sound. During this period, Kiara worked on everything from RTÉ's flagship dramas, to Oscar winning films.
Since 2006, she has been also working as a sound engineer in RTÉ, focusing on radio since 2009, working on Radio 1's daily shows.
Kiara also had a passion for music and continues to run a singer/songwriter club called "The Ivy Sessions" on the Northside of Dublin, which gives a platform to established and new artists alike.
Using her experience in the radio and TV industry joined with her love of music, Kiara is now pursuing new directions towards documentary making.
