Kevin Brew is a graduate of University of Limerick and Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology. He joined RTÉ Lyric fm in 1999 as a Production Co-ordinator and RTÉ Radio 1, as a Producer, in 2003.

Since then he has produced for Radio 1's Rattlebag and The Arts Show while making series such as Sound Stories, Mixtape, and Sound Stories Live. He joined RTÉ Radio Drama in 2009, and his production of In Praise of Darkness by Luke Clancy won Best Editing at the 2011 New York Festivals for Radio Programming.

A "sometimes keyboardist" with Irish bands Headgear and Si Schroeder, Kevin has also produced original music for RTÉ Radio Drama including soundtracks for The Hit List by John Boorman and Old Punks Rule by Joe O'Byrne.
