Documentary Maker: Fiona Kelly

As an independent producer, Fiona has produced more than a dozen feature series for RTÉ Radio 1.

For the past ten years, she has also been one of the voices on "It says on the papers" on Morning Ireland.

Her company, Clockwork Communications, has also produced strands of programming for the 'Today with Pat Kenny Show' for RTÉ Radio's Independent Radio Production Unit.

Before working in broadasting, after graduating from Journalism in the DIT College of Commerce in Rathmines, Fiona spent the early years of her career as a reporter on the Evening Herald and the Sunday Press before becoming Deputy Editor on 'U' Magazine and Irish Tatler Magazine.

After becoming a radio producer in RTÉ in 1996, Fiona worked on all of Radio 1's flagship daytime programmes and also on 2FM's 'Gerry Ryan Show'.

Fiona's series 'Families of the 21st Century', which was broadcast on RTÉ Radio 1, has been shortlisted for the Celtic Media Awards 2012.
