Fading Echoes, looks back at the tradition of Newspaper selling on the streets of Dublin and of course the Echo Boys of Cork, listening in as the Evening Herald, Press, Mail and Echo were sold with a distinctive call.
It includes interviews with some of those who worked barefoot selling newspapers like the Evening Herald, the Press, Mail and Echo on the streets of Dublin and Cork.
The documentary also features Dr Bill Cullen (of Apprentice fame) who, as a 7 year old boy and nicknamed Cochise', after the famous Apache leader 'sold more papers than most around the streets of Dublin.
A story rich in sound and narrative, and highly evocative of a long lost cityscape.
