Orla Rapple is an award winning broadcaster. She has produced documentaries for national, regional and local radio stations in Ireland. She holds an honours degree in Journalism from DIT Aungier Street. When she graduated from college she moved to California where she worked on a weekly radio feature programme called Making Contact which was syndicated to over one hundred National Public Radio stations across the United States.
Orla worked as a producer and presenter on City Channel and has presented her own radio show on RTE 2FM as well as contributing on Marty in the Morning. She produced and presented Orla and Trev at Breakfast on Ireland's first regional radio station Beat 102/103.
Before joining Beat, Orla worked with AA Roadwatch where she was a regular member of 2FM's The Full Irish with Ryan Tubridy.
As well as producing documentaries she currently lectures in media production at both VEC and university level.
