The part of Bruce Ismay was played by Conor Farrington. Other parts were played by Ivan Healy, Daniel Reardon, Laurence Foster, Marian O’Dwyer, Kate Minogue and Breandan O’Duill.
Also taking part were Angus Ismay Cheap, Paddy Clark, Tommy Ridge and Mary McDonagh. Michael O’Donncha was talking to Padraic O’Cathain and recorded by Ted Berry.
“Bruce Ismay’s Soliloquy” was written by Derek Mahon.
The narrator was Frank O’Dwyer. The music and sound effects treatments were specially composed by Dermot Rattigan. Sound supervision was by Alan Halford. Drama sound supervision was by Anton Timoney with Noel Roberts.
“Shame on the Titanic” was written, compiled and produced by Julian Vignoles.
‘Shame on the Titanic’ was first broadcast in February 1987.
