    WHO SAYS AMATEUR DRAMA IS CHEESEY?
    “Say Cheese” by Bernard Farrell is this year’s production by the Carnaross Drama Group in Co. Meath. And the story goes as follows - Celtic Cheeses have run a competition to find the “Happiest Couple in Ireland”. The prizes include a re-enactment of the winner’s wedding reception, an appearance on the “Late Late Show” and a honeymoon in Paris.

    Louise Denvir heard at first hand that rehearsals are a bit like married life.....

    “Say Cheese” runs from Feb. 14th to 17th and 22nd to 24th. On opening night -St. Valentines day- the audience will be treated to a free cheese and wine reception kindly sponsored by Sheridan’s Cheese. Tickets are available from 0870554158

    NOTHING SUCCEEDS LIKE SUCCESSION

    A recent survey carried out for Macra na Feirme showed that half of all farmers have not identified a successor to take over the running of the farm after their time.
